WAVE のディレクターの一人であり、90 年代にHIP HOP ユニット、SHAKKAZOMBIE(シャカゾンビ)のBig-O としてアーティスト活動をしていたオオスミタケシがキュレーションする企画 “RULES curated by Takeshi Osumi”が9/18(金)よりWAVE 渋谷パルコにてスタートします。

日本語ラップの進化や新しいスタイルの登場により、ジャパニーズHIP HOP がアンダーグラウンドからメジャーに至るまでの大きな広がりを見せた90 年代。
今回の企画では自らもラッパーとして活動していたオオスミが、自身が体験した’90s カルチャーやシーンを切り取り、2020 年代に向けて新たな視点でエディット。オオスミがリスペクトし、ジャパニーズHIP HOP 黎明期を牽引してきた“大神”、“スチャダラパー”、“ライムスター”、“キミドリ”というレジェンドアーティストの90 年代当時の作品を再解釈したT シャツをステッカー付きでリリースします。
また、発売に合わせてWAVE のショップではオオスミがセレクトしたジャパニーズHIP HOP のレコードが並ぶ他、オフィシャルサイトでは90 年代から様々なHIP HOP アーティストにもトラックを提供してきた東京を代表するDJ/プロデューサー・DJ WATARAI によるジャパニーズHIP HOP MIX の配信もします。
