80〜90年代を中心に”音と映像の新しい空間”としてビル1棟丸ごとカルチャー発信基地のように様々な文化を発信する存在だった「WAVE」
現在の六本木ヒルズの場所にあった1棟6フロアのビルは世界中より厳選された音楽が集められたレコードショップ、一般的な映画館では扱われないような作品を果敢に上映するミニシアターのシネ・ヴィヴァン、レコーディングからコンピューター・グラフィックスのためのスタジオなど音楽と映像のコンテンツで埋め尽くされた他にはない空間で、知的でハイセンスなカルチャーを発信していく場として当時存在していました。
流行に敏感な人々が集う場所であり、国内はもちろん海外の著名なアーティストや音楽プロデューサーもWAVEでレコードやCDを買うことを目的にわざわざ日本に来ていたほどでした。

2019年、WAVEは新しいプロジェクトとして再スタート。
音楽やファッションだけにとどまらない様々なカルチャーミックスをベースにしたTEST HOUSE(実験室)として情報を発信していきます。

WAVE during the 80s-90s the whole building was a new space for music and pictures”, and a cultural base of new subcultures.
The building with 6 floors in the present Roppongi Hills location was a record store with selection of specific and special music from all over the world, films not introduced in theaters such as mini theaters cine vivant, studio for computer graphics and recording, WAVE was a center of spreading the greatest taste of culture. 

The spot was a gathering place for trendy people and many famous artists and music producers from the world were visiting Tokyo just to purchase at WAVE.

WAVE will restart as a new music project in 2019.  
Aiming for WAVE to be the TEST HOUSE based on information source not only with music and fashion but a culture mix of all sorts.
